Merger with VITG
ITtelligent was started by Robert Adelman in 2006. ITtelligent even in those early days was a pioneer and market leader.
While the majority if not all of IT providers charged an hourly rate Rob decided against this and wanted to make the relationship with his clients a Win-Win.
We aimed to be on the same team as the clients.
Rob believed that an IT provider should provide the following qualities

- No Lock-In Contracts
- 5 Minute Response Guarantee
- Communication That Rob’s Mum Would Understand
- Putting The Customer First
Why Black Lantern?
After selling ITtelligent and having a nice "well-earned" break from Managed Services for over 3 years Rob soon realised you cant take the passion to help others away from him and after witnessing and experiencing poor IT Support from other managed services companies it only made sense that Black Lantern begins. However now it is different.
Merger with VITG
In November 2021 ITtelligent was fully acquired by VITG and Rob is proud to say that many of ITtelligent former staff are still working at VITG today, this is testament to Rob’s ability to hire the right people and if you were ever fortunate enough to be a client of ITtelligent you would know exactly why.
